I ordered gift basket 33204x as a birthday gift and expected it to ship complete. The recipient got 3 deliveries making it look very small and not like a bundle of goodies as advertised. Plus, the products are mediocre. The cake was just like you would bake at home. The package cost $159.00 before taxes. I will never order from them again, ever. They ruined my surprise for a family member on a very important day. I am heart broken.
Today I checked the status of my order that was being sent to a co-worker as a sympathy gift. I ordered this 12 days ago... I sent them an email and 5 minutes later they respond thank you for your recent order (recent order please) that due to an unexpected shortage delay the bakery tray is no longer available! Very poor business / I am so mad

This place is a terrible place to shop if you think you’re getting a quality/loving gift for someone. I received my product in a brown box, no packaging, as displayed in the photo. I contacted customer support and they apologized; nothing more or less; resolving the issue-absolutely not, why would they? They have their money…. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
They are excellent we ordered from them for our Mother’s on Mother’s Day and they forgot to put one of the brownies in the basket that my brother ordered from Costco through them which was not even their fault but they shipped her two boxes of both the brownies! A big Thank you fir making it right!
There is simply no way to describe how bad Mother's Day was ruined by this company. I can tell you my elderly mother and aunt did NOT receive their items as promised as a matter of fact as of today 05/11/2021 and Mother's Day was the 9th my mother still has not received anything. My aunt received half of the order with a personalized card that went to the gift Just in case whoever is reading this review does not know Harry and David sends flower orders to 1-800 Flowers. 1-800 Flowers still hasn't corrected the situation although they offered the solution of allowing dead flowers to continue through transit. I was pretty shocked that anyone would suggest something like. Very long story short $400.00 later and my mother never received any flowers, my sister did get hers, although, my mom and sister live in the same house. My mother was suppose to receive a replacement bouquet and yeah that never happened. The very worst part of this nightmare is my elderly mother thought my sister's flowers were for her, so sad. My aunt got her plant one day and after a long collective 4 to 6 hours on the phone over 3 days she finally got her birdhouse. What a mess! Like I said, the customer service was ridiculous from Harry and David and 1-800 Flowers were just as bad. They each kept throwing it back to the other company. I finally refuted my mothers flowers on my credit card. Never ever again!
This is the worst company I have every purchased from. I bought three Easter baskets for my Grand Daughters. They said it would be delivered the week before Easter, then when they were supposed to ship, they changed the date to after Easter, and then changed again to an even later date. When I contacted customer service they just kept giving me the same shipping info which said they were not shipped. Then they told me not to worry they would arrive on time, but they did not. I understand that things happen, but three separate orders? And then to just keep telling me everything is ok, even after the date. When you live miles away from your Granddaughters, it's important to have things there on time. Hary & David just don't care about family.
I spent two days trying to place an order. Chat was no help. I called customer service, which also was no help. I finally gave up. Never again! I won't waste my time. Not sure what the problem was but they are really having problems!
Called customer service and they said, things happen from time to time. But in the box, it says if you are not happy with product, we will make it right. NOT... said sorry. No wonder they have a 2 rating and 18 in list of gift companies. How sad.it was for my mom for Easter. The only thing that was per the picture was just the planter.
If I didn't ask they would not have told me my package was delayed it was very important to me to get it there on time I am so disappointed in them Last time I will use them and I will notify my family and friends
So excited for my honey bells they look amazing and taste so good. Fed ex did delay my gift but Harry and David packaged them so well they came in wonderfully I can't thank you all enough for helping our family keep up our honeybell tradition.
Literally the worst. Put in a big order for 12 baskets. Checked to make sure they were sent and was told they never were. No one called to let me know, so it was luck that I called and found out. I spoke with a supervisor, we went through the whole order again. She promised me they would be delivered by February 3rd and I wouldn’t be charged for shipping. I called to confirm they were sent out and the same exact thing happened. The order was never sent out! Now I’m on hold (and have been for 10+ minutes) for them to figure out what happened. Horrible
Harry and David has dramatically gone downhill in quality. For several year’s I’ve received a package from them only to be disappointed. The fruit is picked very early and will not ripen, even on a counter in the sun for a week and a half! Absolutely no flavor. I would be embarrassed to gift anyone with Harry and David.
Spoiled fruit and chocolate which got me sick. The best was the stone in the fruit cake! Seriously?
I've used Harry and David for years with positive results. This year was a total disaster. Still waiting on delivery for a Fruit/Cheese of the Month club to a neighbor. Was told a letter of apology would be sent to them (never received) as well as a card announcing the upcoming delivery(again, never received). LONG LONG LONG wait times and poor answers. Get it together, H and D or you will start to loose long time customers.

Nope, the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Harry&David should be absolutely ashamed of their customer service! They dont call back, on homd 25 mins then hung up on.

The quality has always been high, so I paid a $#*!-ton for my mom's Christmas gift. Then they did not deliver for two months. She called the third--we will see if she finally gets something. Grr.
